I ordered this little cutie from America. She is Do Si Do Anya from the Greeting Farm. I have always loved their little characters and while I have three mini remix sets, this is the first full sized character I have. She is so cute and was the last one in the shop so I had to grab her up. I cannot wait to get creative with this stamp.

The next thing I want to show you is my ATC. I was looking to subcultures for inspiration and the last post was steampunk while today I was playing around with 'Bohemia'. I love this style as it is very freeing and full of pattern and whimsy, much more my home turf. I used a few techniques, mostly stamping but also stencilling and decoupage with some watercolours. I used Tim Holtz distress inks as they are my go to medium for all my colouring of atcs. I wanted the ATC to be abstract and only use the theme as inspiration. I did not want it to be apparent by looking at the card so that anyone who looks at it can get their own impression at first glance.

Thank you for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment if you like what you see so that I may check out your blog too.
I usually like to make ATCs with a focal point and work around it but for this ATC I decided to just have fun and be a bit more abstract. This ATC is representing 'steampunk'. I am quite familair with steampunk although I have not used it as inspiration in my work before. I am pleased with the result aesthetically even if it is quite different from my usual style which is a lot more whimsical.

Look out for number two and three where I tried different sources for inspiration.

This card is titled 'Autumn greetings' and it is a slider card. I used the mini remix stamps again for this card but I went with the 'mini remix happy' stamp set. I coloured my little image with my polychromos pencil crayons and used Fabriano hot pressed watercolour paper once again. I added a little tassle which you pull to reveal your message.

The inside of the card mimics the ouside with the sentiment and image, someting I did differently this time as the last time I left the inside blank.

I have ordered another Greeting Farm stamp but I do not think it will make it across the pond in time for the cut off date for the challenge so I will have to keep it for another challenge which should be fun.
I am quite new to card making although I have been crafing for quite some time. This is my first time ever entering a card challenge or competition so I thought it was high time I got my feet wet.

I love Greeting farm stamps and although I only have a few of their stamp sets I would love to add to my collection. The theme is fall colours. I was not sure if this card fitted the theme but I just went with it anyway, perhaps they are looking for more 'leaves and pie' sort of theme but I am working with what I have. I used the 'mini remix brewtiful' and the 'perk up' sets. The card I used is Fabriano hot pressed water colour paper. I coloured my images with distress ink and polychromos pencil crayons. I created the pattern paper with stamped images that I coloured. I also added a few gems and some glitter card that I had in my stash

This was a nice challenge as Autumn is not really my go to colour pallete but I had fun making this card and tried my best which I am happy with.
